About that dude
THAT DUDE is me, Michael Williams. Nice to meet you!
I'm originally from Los Angeles, graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with a BA in Philosophy, and have called Miami home since 2009.
I started teaching and tutoring for the GMAT, LSAT, and SAT for The Princeton Review in 1999, was the highest-rated Princeton Review GMAT instructor in the nation within three years, and shortly thereafter became a Princeton Review GMAT Master Trainer, a role that allowed me to fly around the country training new instructors. I've taught or tutored just about every major standardized test (GMAT, LSAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, MCAT-Verbal, MCAT-Physics, SAT II - Writing, SAT II-Math I, SAT II-Math IC, SAT II - Math IIC), and I've worked with students who achieved perfect scores on the SAT, GMAT, and GRE.
I've run the Temple Beth Am Basketball League in Miami for more than a decade, coached youth basketball teams of all ages, and started the recreational chess club at Coconut Grove Elementary School; coaching, teaching, and tutoring light my fire!! When not doing those things, I love playing beach volleyball and spending time with my daughter, Riley, and our pooch, Mr. Benji Pickles.
